Delaney, who was named the 2019 Southland Conference Player of the Year last month, is the fourth all-American in Bearkat history, joining Gilberto Clavell (2011), Joe Thompson (2005) and Donald Cole (2003) who all also earned honorable mention nods after their Southland Conference Player of the Year seasons. The Harker Heights native led the Bearkats to a Southland Conference title in 2019, leading the team in scoring with an average of 13.4 points per game to go with 5.5 rebounds.
