On his part, Root said he did not expect to get so many overs under his belt but added that every game presented a new avenue for improvement. “It’s not about the number of runs you score and being the one that stands out in terms of individual accolades. It’s about building those substantial partnerships that win you games and collectively getting the job done. I feel like I’m playing all right. I don’t feel like I’m playing exceptionally well at the moment but I feel like I’m playing some good stuff and there’s still loads of things that I want to keep working on and keep improving. It was important we didn’t panic and kept it together. We managed to get across the line and did it really convincingly in the end so it’s a really good sign and will fill the dressing room with a lot of confidence in knowing that we don’t have to go about things in just one way to be successful,” Root said.On his bowling, Root said, “I didn’t really expect (to get so many overs). I got the opportunity and it was nice to pick up a few wickets. I probably burgled them rather than out-skilled them. I’m not the most skilful off-spinner, so I was just trying to be as unpredictable as possible.”England will now play Afghanistan in Manchester on June 18 while West Indies face a vital clash against Bangladesh in Taunton on June 17. highlights New Delhi: Joe Root single-handedly demolished West Indies in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 clash against West Indies in Southampton with a century and two wickets. His wicket of Shimron Hetmyer broke a solid stand with Nicholas Pooran and he also took the big wicket of Windies skipper Jason Holder as the West Indies were bowled out for a below-par score of 212. Root hurt West Indies with the bat by smashing a brilliant century to guide England to an eight-wicket win. Having also scored a century against Pakistan, Root has now amassed 279 runs in four matches, becoming the first England player to score two hundreds in a single edition of the World Cup since Kevin Pietersen 12 years ago. He has also become the first in history to compile three in total, as the hosts moved to the second position in the points table.Skipper Eoin Morgan, who walked off the field due to a back spasm, has lavished praise on Root by stating the Yorkshire batsman continued to impress every single time. “He is such an important player for us, he is the glue that holds everything together and probably a side of his batting that’s got better over the last two or three years that people haven’t seen a lot of is his expansive game. He never seems to be scoring at less than a run a ball. You look up and he’s going at more than a run a ball. It’s exceptional to see him come out and be in this form,” Morgan said. Zoran Mijic Mrmi, goalkeeper of Borac from Kozarska Dubica, appears to be predestined to save lives on football courts. During the match with Modriča, which was played on the home field last weekend, Mrmi saved the life of young Dian Halilović, who remained laying on the court in the final moments of the match, after a fierce duel.“After a strong kick in the head, I noticed that my teammate’s ear is bleeding and he was not even aware of that. Suddenly he got all swollen up and pale. I knew that war dangerous and I requested from the referee to pronounce the match over, since everything took place during the stoppage time. I ran to Halilović, who fell unconscious then. I helped him gain consciousness again after which together with coach Trkulja I took him to the Health Center, and he was later transferred to the hospital in Prijedor,” Mijic said. This is the fifth time he had participated in saving someone’s life.“It wasn’t simple to look into the death’s eyes. Luckily, I had always won, young lives were saved, and that is the most important thing. Many letters of gratitude remind me of that, as well as friendships I established later with people I saved and their families,” said this football hero from Kozarska Dubica. It all started in 1996, when a football player remained lying on the court, without any movements, during the match between BSK and Borac. While the others were panicking, Zoran managed to take his tongue out and thus saved him from certain death. He did the same thing in 2014 during a friendly match with Rudar from Prijedor, when he saved Nemanja Marić in an identical way.Sanela Custic, a girl born in 2007, could not even imagine that a car will hit her while she is riding her bike close to Mijić’s house.“The girl who was driving the car was in shock. The girl, whose parents grew up here and now they all live in Germany, was lying on the road. She was bruised, but it was clear to me that she was choking. I took her tongue out, she bit me several times, but the most important thing is – I saved her life,” Mijic remembered. A miracle happened last year as well, when he and his teammates saved a young man after a traffic accident, when he fell from a motorbike.“I received 18 letters of gratitude from different associations, clubs, federations. Everyone sees me as a phenomenon, and I am just the ordinary Mrmi, as my friends and neighbors call me,” said this 36-year-old man.(Source: fokus.ba)
A small “kitten” named Tito has stolen a lot of hearts but has a big secret, Inside Edition reports. The secret is that Tito is a wild puma. When Florencia Lobo and her brother discovered two babies abandoned near Santa Rosa de Leales, Argentina, they assumed they were two little kittens who had lost their mother.“We thought that it was an abandoned cat who had given birth,” Lobo told Reuters. The pair took the animals home, but only Tito survived. Two months later, Lobo took Tito to the vet for a check-up and was told he is not a kitten but a puma jaguarundi, which is a type of wild cat.Lobo has since brought Tito to a wildlife preserve where he can be cared for by experts and possibly released back into the wild.Lobo says she will never forget her time with Tito.

We ask that you grant us the respect and privacy we will need to navigate this new reality. There aren’t enough words to describe our pain right now. I take comfort in knowing that Kobe and Gigi both knew that they were so deeply loved. We were so incredibly blessed to have them in our lives. I wish they were here with us forever. They were our beautiful blessings taken from us too soon. I’m not sure what our lives hold beyond today, and it’s impossible to imagine life without them. But we wake up each day, trying to keep pushing because Kobe, and our baby girl, Gigi, are shining on us to light the way. Our love for them is endless — and that’s to say, immeasurable. I just wish I could hug them, kiss them and bless them. Have them here with us, forever. “My girls and I want to thank the millions of people who’ve shown support and love during this horrific time. By Stephen DienerSomething has really bothered me over the past 24 hours when it comes to the Michael Flynn “unmasking” story. Namely, the fact that this has the real potential to be the biggest political scandal of our life time, (yes, bigger than Watergate) and yet the majority doesn’t seem to understand why, or are even paying attention to it.And maybe that isn’t anyone’s fault besides the main stream media.Fox News is the only MSM outlet that has covered this story, every other network has largely ignored it. So when things are ignored or swept under the rug, it’s hard for the general population to understand what is really happening out there.Enter, me and this labor of love.First, the backstory. There is a law that allows the intelligence community to monitor foreign people of interest. These laws were enacted with the hopes of stopping terrorism through the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, or more commonly known as FISA. It has provisions in place that are supposed to protect Americans who are “incidentally” recorded. They do this by “masking” them. Now, sometimes during surveillance, unwitting Americans are caught up in the conversation. When this happens, intelligence analysts are supposed to “mask” that persons identity out of respect and privacy, unless they are suspected of wrongdoing. Here’s where Michael Flynn comes in and why this is a very big deal.In early 2017, a few weeks before Trump was set to take office, Flynn was having conversations with a Russian ambassador who the NSA just happened to be surveilling. They were talking about sanctions that would have gone against moves that the Obama administration had made in the past.So what did the perpetrators decide to do from there? Go after the very man who worked his whole career to defend against Russia and accuse him of conspiring with Russians.Side note, that accusation was proven false last week which is why you may have heard about the DOJ dropping charges against Flynn. His life was still ruined for the past three and a half years, but that is neither here nor there to his accusers. But back to the story. The rest of this reads almost like a spy novel. From there, then VP Joe Biden, FBI Director James Comey, National Intelligence Director James Clapper, and CIA Director John Brennan, amongst others, used their powers to unmask Flynn and reveal his identity in order to stop his work and undermine the Trump presidency before it even began. Is that in its self illegal? There is a lot of gray area there, but there is no argument that it is highly immoral to abuse your powers to spy on and set up a political opponent for your own personal gain. That being said, someone leaked Flynn’s name to the press at that time, which is indeed highly illegal, and that someone could be any of those slime balls I already mentioned. Which could mean future Senate investigations and possible jail time for said slime balls. And make no mistake about it, just because Obama’s name was not mentioned in the unmasking request list that came out yesterday that showed all of the administration officials who did put in requests to uncover Flynn’s identity, it does not mean he was not aware or even involved in what was going on.Case in point, Lisa Page’s text to Peter Strozk on September 6th, 2016 that read “POTUS wants to know everything that we are doing.”Well, that seems pretty cut and dry doesn’t it? And in case you forgot, those are the two FBI agents who got in trouble for having an affair and lying about it.So what happened after they got a hold of Flynn? They forced him to lie about his involvement with the Russians by threatening him and his son. Nice people right? That of course led to something you might remember called the Russia collusion investigation which lasted for over two years. The entire thing was based off of lies and deception all for personal gain. Which is kind of ironic when you think about it, considering that is exactly what the Democrats impeached Trump for when they accused him of quid pro quo with Ukraine for political gain.In short, this is a very big deal because the officials at the very highest levels of the Obama administration, the intelligence communities, and possibly even then President Obama himself were involved with trying to sabotage an incoming President and working behind the scenes for three very long years to get him ousted. These are no longer tin hat conspiracy theories like the goons at CNN or MSNBC would have you believe, this is now hardcore truth backed up by government documents.Which is more than they could ever say in any of their fake investigations.
